The Golden Avocado Puffer is a striking freshwater puffer known for its beautiful golden-green coloration, active personality, and curious behavior. This species is best kept as a single specimen, as it can be territorial and aggressive toward tank mates.

Reaches approximately 4–5 inches as an adult.

Diet:
A carnivorous predator that should be offered a varied diet of snails, shrimp, frozen meaty foods, and other high-quality aquatic invertebrates. Hard-shelled foods such as snails can help provide natural tooth wear.

Tank Size & Parameters:
A minimum 40-gallon aquarium is recommended for a single adult, with larger aquariums preferred. Provide plenty of swimming space, hiding areas, driftwood, rockwork, and plants to help create a stimulating environment.
